John Passinault: SS/RHP, (2022) Grand Rapids Catholic Central, MI. 6-foot, 185-pound. Solid in the box, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 91 mph. Begins in a wide crouched stance with a tight quick load, then uses a leg kick. Has a short level swing plane, quick bat speed and good extension on his finish. He found lots of barrels with loud contact. Line drive approach. Solid while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 79 mph; has firm hands, a clean quick exchange, and quick rhythmic feet. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball deep. Using a quick arm action, showed decent accuracy to the base from a ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.31.
