Lincoln McKinnon: 1B/RHP, (2023) Gladwin, MI. 6-foot-2, 235-pound. Solid confident in the box, Mckinnon had a max exit velocity of 90 mph. Began in a closed tall stance with a controlled smooth load, then used a small stride. Bat speed was present, showed a rotational loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found lots of barrels with loud contact. Line drive approach. While in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 79 mph. Raw projectable on the mound, had an over-the-top arm angle and a long arm action with some arm speed. Tilt-and-topple type pitcher and uses high effort. Showed tall balance point and uphill shoulders. Shows upright falling off finish. Changeup (68-71 mph). Threw his fastball 82-84 mph; throws a straight fastball with tilt and command in the zone. (Max spin 1997; Avg 1896). Throws his 12/6 curveball (70-71) with gradual early action and down in the zone command.
