6-foot-4, 210-pound long framed prospect has cleaned up his body since we last saw him at Future Games. At the plate shows power potential. In the field has a live arm and plays a solid 3B. Excels on the mound with a heavy ball thrown from a high ¾ arm angle. Fastball was up to 90 mph. Showcased a sharp breaking curve 68-70 mph and a 74-76 mph change up.

Evans is now 6-foot-3, 210 pounds filling out his frame since we last saw him. On the mound he threw two innings at the Future Games showing an easy delivery while commanding the zone. Fastball was 82-86 mph, showed a 68-69 mph 11/5 breaking curve ball that showed depth. Developing 72-73 mph slider with a slurvy feel. At the plate sets up with his hands elevated, moves hands back and lifts his hands making a hard cut. Shows power when he squares the ball up. Has a good feel for 3B showing soft hands, and moves through the baseball well.

Evans is 6-foot-2, 175 pound young prospect who will continue to fill out. One of the top 2019 prospects we have seen all year. In his one inning of work he struck out multiple batters. Works with an uptempo rhythm while delivering ¾ with effort. His fastball has good run side action 78-83 mph, a tight spinning breaking ball 70-71 mph and a developing knuckleball that danced with rotation 65-68 mph. At 3B has a strong throwing arm while showing good range. 82 mph infield velocity. Hits in an athletic stance, using a front leg trigger as his load. Made good hard contact and registered an 88 mph exit velocity.

Evans has a projectable 6-foot-1, 165-pound frame. He uses an upright stance and has good rhythm with a slight leg kick. He shows good balance with his swing. His exit velocity was 78 mph and he ran a 4.68 from home-to-1st. On the infield, he shows good rhythm with his feet and smooth hands. His position velocity across the diamond was up to 78 mph. On the mound, he has a quick arm and throws from a 3/4 arm slot. His fastball sat 77-81 mph with arm side run. His changeup sat 65-70 mph with some sink. His curveball has 11/5 break and sat 68-69 mph and was thrown with good arm speed and tight break. He showed the ability to repeat his delivery.

6-foot, 150-pound prospect. Athletic, toolsy player in the 2019 class. Good swing plane up through the baseball. Recorded an exit velocity of 74 mph. Fields ball off to the side in the outfield with good glove actions and accurate throws. Long arm action helped produce a 76 mph arm velocity. Long, projectable frame. Max effort guy, while throwing with a 3/4 slot. Throws 3 pitches. Fastball sat 76-77 mph, his curve was his plus pitch at 68 mph with a sharp downward motion. Change up produces a lot of swing a misses due to great arm deception near the fastball at 66 mph.
