6-foot-0, 180 pounds with an average frame. Plays the game with confidence. At the plate, the right handed hitter uses a slightly open stance with short stride. Shows quick hands and plus bat speed. Displays sufficient use of his lower half, which allows him to create some gap to gap production. Stroke features smooth fluidity and registered an 84 mph exit velocity. At shortstop, Zeimis displays soft hands and a quick transfer, but his best tool is his arm. He showed the ability to use different arm angles while topping out at 87 mph across the infield. Registered a 7.63 60 yard dash time. Also shows plenty of upside on the mound. The right hander throws through a high 3/4 slot with long, loose arm action. Smooth, fluid delivery with noticeably quick arm action. Features plus command of his 83-85 mph fastball. Uses a hard 72-73 curveball that displays sharp 11/5 tilt. Also showed feel for his 76-78 mph changeup thrown with fastball arm speed. 2015 prospect that offers plenty of tools.
Zeimis looks like a ballplayer. Carried himself well. Stands 6-foot, 175-poounds. More room to grow into body. High ¾ armslot produced a fastball had some armside run and sat at 82mph a lot. We liked his quicker arm and think it projects to add more velocity. Breaking ball spun very well. Tighter spin with 12/6 action (70-72mph). Had good feel for change at 73-75mph with armside run. Overall Zeimis showed well. Another follow for sure.
