Sam Hungerford: RHP/1B, (2025) Grandville, MI. 5-foot-10, 190-pound. (69.8 mph bat speed average). (19.3 mph hand speed average). Started in a strong active stance with a handsy active load, then used a leg kick. Had flashed average bat speed and a rotational swing plane. He barreled up some balls with some loud contact. Solid capable while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 71 mph; has consistent hands, in control consistent feet, and a fluid clean exchange. Movements laterally were developing and he fields the ball out front. Solid on the mound, showing consistent arm speed he had an over-the-top high ¾ arm angle with a short clean arm action. Tilt-and-topple type pitcher and shows some effort. Showed low balance point with even shoulders. Lands square with a clean balanced finish. (Max spin 2051; Avg 1975).
