William Pflaum: RHP/OF, (2022) Grosse Pointe north, MI. 6-foot-1, 160-pound. On the mound, sat with his fastball at 80-81 mph with a max of 83 mph. Cutter (76-78 mph), curveball (61-64 mph), changeup (73-75 mph).
Pitching: On the mound a right hand arm shows easy arm action while mixing in a four pitch mix. Cutter had late movement while going away from right hand hitters. Curve shows a 11/5 break down with the potential to be an out pitch. Change up was thrown with the same arm speed as the fastball showing deception.
Pitching: On the mound works out of the stretch showing a short arm action. Fastball was low in the zone showing command. Nice break on the curve thrown over the top with a 12/6 break. Big time change up showing a lot of movement. Plus pitch for the change up.
Pitching: ON the mound steps right moving a balance point while rocking back to put his weight on his back leg. Throws from a high 3/4 arm angle with a short arm action. Fastball was 77-79 mph with late action. Change up with thrown with similar arm speed at the fastball 70-71 mph. 64-66 mph sharp breaking curve down in the zone.
Fielding: In the outfield has an understanding of hops moving aggressively after he finds his hop, takes a gather step and throws with good arm carry.
Hitting: At the plate has a crouched stance and hands back in a loaded position. Throws hands at the plate making solid contact. Showed the ability to drive the ball to the pull side. Solid round of BP. On the right side leans back and takes a clean swing path. Works the piddle half of the field.
Mechanics: Clean mechanics on the mound, takes a step left and moves to his letter high balance point throwing from a high 3/4 arm angle.
Fastball: Was easy out the arm with command working both sides of the plate. 78-80 mph velocity.
Curve: Sweeping action on the curve with a sharp break down and away 65-67 mph.
