3/10/18- 6-foot-3, 155-pound right-handed pitcher. Uncommitted arm who has made significant strides in mechanics and velocity over last 12 months. Long lanky frame. Uptempo delivery, crouched over rubber, aggressive down mound, compact arm action, good hand quickness, with above avg. extension and finish to plate. Fastball was delivered downhill for consistent strikes with late running action at 86-88 mph. Breaking ball is thrown with good velocity, 73-76 mph, with 11/5 shape and late sharp break. Avg. feel for changeup, thrown firm, with cutting action to plate. Overall one of top uncommitted arms in state and should receive significant late interest.
3/20/17- 6-foot-3, 150-pound right-handed pitcher. Tall skinny build, young in face, and projects to mature and continue to add quality strength. Uptempo delivery, heavy crouch at balance point, lands across body in delivery. Long arm action on backside- becomes compact as it works through- with extension out front. Fastball was 80-82 mph with late cutting action at plate. Shows solid shape and spin on breaking ball for strikes. Above avg. fade on changeup, thrown at fastball arm speed, with feel for zone.
5/3/16- 6-foot, 140-pound right-handed pitcher. Lean projectable frame. Lacks posture at balance point. Better out of stretch. Short on back-side; arm is fast and clean out front. Shows life on fastball, thrown consistently for strikes, at 75-77 mph; touching 78 mph. Breaking ball is above avg., thrown with good extension, from same fastball slot, with tight rotation and 11/5 shape. Changeup is firm, for strikes, with avg. fade and depth. Interesting follow on mound with instruction and physical maturity.
