On mound; builds tempo in delivery, clean compact arm action, projects well on mound, should continue to add strength and velocity. Fastball was 81-85 mph with occasional run and sink at plate. Breaking ball has sharp break with depth; thrown near fastball arm speed. Tends to slow arm with stiff actions on changeup. 7.22 runner. Tall stance, shoulder load, short finish through contact, lift in swing plane, fly ball and line drive hitter, 85 mph exit velocity. Physical with solid athleticism in field, longer arm action, solid carry and accuracy to target, 85 mph arm strength from outfield.
3/17/18- 6-foot-1, 185-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. Projectable build that will continue to add strength. 7.28 runner. Open stance, leg kick trigger, shoulder load, looks to elevate, stays inside baseball, flashes hard contact, gap to gap approach with present strength, 83 mph exit velocity. Solid athleticism, plays through ball, sure hands, follows throws, above avg. arm, accurate with carry to target, 85 mph arm from outfield. On mound; short rocker step into athletic tuck and turn, clean arm action, ball jumps out of hand in front, shows extension and finish to plate. Fastball was 78-80 mph with flashes of sink to arm-side. Flashes sharp break on curveball with 11/5 shape. Avg. changeup with straight action to plate. Follow in 2020 class.
10/22/17- 6-foot-1, 185-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. Projectable build with strong frame and has room to continue to add strength and size. 7.13 runner. Wide stance, good balance, works uphill through contact, flashes pop in bat, gap to gap approach, produces above avg. bat speed, 81 mph exit velocity. Clean arm action, plays fast in field, online throws with carry and accuracy, projects as college right-fielder, 84 mph arm from outfield. Sure hands at first, solid around bag, decent receiver, 82 mph arm across infield. On mound; quick turn into strong balance point, long arm action, lands in line to catcher, with extension and finish to plate. Low effort ability to throw strikes with fastball, slight cutting action, at 79-81 mph. Solid depth on 11/5 breaking ball. Flat action with avg. feel for changeup.
