Five-foot-11; 190-pound right-handed pitcher. Compact frame with lean present strength and physicality; possessing quick twitch movements and a high level of athleticism. Began college career as a 2-way prospect; developing his tools as a middle infielder and pitcher. Sitting predominantly 86-88 mph his senior year, Bush now showcases a fastball in the 93-96 mph range, with ability to reach as high as 97/98 mph. Short compact arm path with well above average hand speed out front. Athletic on mound and is free of any glaring hitches or interruptions in delivery. Fastball has a tendency to straighten out at current higher velocity. Occasional sharpness to slider at 84.3-85.1 mph with solid/average spin rates averaging 2222 rpm's. Change is firm with flashes of run and sink. Bush shows typical qualities of an infielder who has transitioned to the mound; with ability to play catch with the glove, feel for throwing strikes, and fields his position well.
