6/19/18- 6-foot-1, 175-pound right-handed hitting shortstop. #134 ranked player in MN 2019 class. 7.04 runner. Open stance, shoulder load, stiff legs in swing, rotational path, spray hitter, flashes hard line drive contact, 90 mph exit velocity. Active feet, tall fielding position, sure hands, solid athlete, decent actions, 80 mph arms strength across infield.
3/18/18- 6-foot-1, 175-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.3 runner. Crouched stance with active load, effects timing, gap to gap approach, spray contact, hard contact when on time, 86 mph exit velocity. Clean arm action with carry and accuracy, under-developed footwork and hands, has solid athleticism, plays with tempo and is aggressive in field, 84 mph arm across infield. On mound; stretch only, up tempo down mound, quick arm, lands slightly across body, close to upright on finish. Fastball was 83-85 mph, sneaks on hitter, with flashes of arm-side run. Loose breaking ball lacks velocity and consistency. Avg. depth and fade on changeup.
9/23/19: Freshman IF Peter Hansen went 3-for-3 with three RBI at the plate. He showed a quiet, balanced and contact oriented approach. His bat to ball skills should fit nicely into the 6 or 7-hole in the Braves veteran lineup this spring.
