3/20/17- 5-foot-10, 160-pound right-handed hitting shortstop. #7 ranked player in MN 2018 class. U. Minnesota verbal commit. 7.22 runner. Square stance with body load, slight length to contact, aggressive swinger but keeps head still to contact, consistent hard contact with line drive swing plane, mid/pull approach, 84 mph exit velocity. Active feet with sure hands, good range to both sides, works through ball, longer arm path, accurate to bag with solid carry, projects as offensive second baseman at college level, 76 mph arm strength across infield.
5/3/16- 5-foot-10, 155-pound right-handed hitting shortstop. 7.35 runner. Compact build with strength. Linear hitter, square stance, good weight transfer, swings with intent, hard line drive contact, projectable hitting tools, 82 mph exit velocity. Plays fast in field with athletic actions, solid glove, good footwork, aggressive fielder. Quick release on throws with carry and accuracy, 75 mph arm strength. Strong follow in 2018 class.
3/1/20:Scrappy 5-foot-10, 175-pound sophomore middle infielder and second generation Gopher (father Brian was a UM All-America infielder and former MLer) Raabe raked in the three games of the Classic, batting .583 with a home run. At the plate he’s aggressive and geared towards contact over power. At the keystone his glove is average with solid range and enough arm to turn two. (Seifert)
