6/5/18 - Prewitt is a 5-foot-10 170-pound right-handed hitting catcher in Missouri’s 2019 class.  He ran a 4.97 home to first and a has an 83 mph exit velocity. At the plate, starts slightly open, smooth weight shift to back side, accelerates hands to the ball, level path, stays on ball after contact, middle of the field approach with pull side power, loose and easy with feel for the barrel.  Behind the plate, short takeaway in transfer, 2.04-2.10-second pop times, 78 mph positional velocity, clean transfer, athletic feet creating momentum to throw, throws are accurate with carry, soft hands in receiving.

2/24/18 - Prewitt is a sturdy 5-foot-10 170-pound right-handed hitting catcher in Missouri’s 2019 class.  He ran a 4.70 home to first and has an 82 mph exit velocity. At the plate, open stance, smooth load to back side, quiet hands, accelerated and loose bat, level path, line drives gap to gap during hitting evaluations.  Behind the plate, pop times 1.90 to 2.05-seconds, athletic and quick actions, clean exchanges on time with short and quick feet, accurate throws with carry.

6/13/17 - Prewitt is a durable 5-foot-10 167-pound right-handed hitting catcher and third baseman in Missouri’s 2019 class.  He ran a 8.22 laser timed 60 and a 79 mph exit velo.  He has an 85 mph exit velo. At the plate, showed power to the pull side, open stance, smooth rhythm, accelerated and quick hands, level path though the zone, consistent hard contact during batting practice.  Behind the plate, pop times between 2.06 and 2.17, 72 mph positional velo, quick actions, short over the top release, momentum through the throw, gives low target, moves well to block. Singled twice in game action, both to left-center. On the infield, 79 mph positional velo, clean exchange soft hands, fluid glove to hand transition, mostly accurate throws.

2/17/17 - Prewitt is a 5-foot-9 167-pound right-handed hitting catcher in Missouri’s 2019 class.  He ran a 4.71 home to first and has an exit velo of 83 mph. At the plate, smooth pre-swing rhythm, open stance, in line stride, quick bat speed, level path, gap-to-gap approach, flashed pull side power, aggressive. Behind the plate, pop times between 1.96 and 2.06-seconds, 72 mph positional velo, over the top release, everything works in sync, quick twitch action in catch and throw, soft hands, mostly accurate throws.

10/23/16 - Prewitt is a 5-foot-9 167-pound right-handed hitting catcher in Missouri’s 2019 class.  He ran a 7.38 60 and a 4.30 home-to-first.  He has an exit velo of 79 mph. At the plate, balanced set up, smooth rhythm, reverse to tap, accelerates to ball, consistent middle of the field contact, loose hands, solid contact during game action, reaching base on a pair of errors.  Behind the plate, pop times between 2.17 and 2.25-seconds, 72 mph positional velo, moves well behind plate, clean and quick exchange, high three quarters release, quick and loose arm action, fluid footwork, somewhat accurate throws.

5/31/16 - Prewitt is a 5-foot-9 170-pound right-handed hitting catcher in Missouri’s 2019 class.  He ran a 7.87 60 and a 5.26 home-to-first.  He has an exit velo of 76 mph. At the plate, athletic stance with rhythm in load, gap-to-gap approach, solid consistent contact with quick bat speed, stays on ball after contact.  Behind the plate, high three quarters release, pop times between 2.06 and 2.18, somewhat accurate throws, clean catch and throw, 71 mph positional velo.
