Hit: Right-Handed. Hits from a slightly open stance with slight bend in the knees. Quick leg lift, long aggressive stride before a big hand load and launching his barrel on a flat path through extension with quick hands. One handed finish.
Power: 82 mph exit velocity in BP. Showed consistent line drive ability.
Run: 4.73 runner home-to-first.
Delivery: Feet start balanced towards middle of rubber, quick side step initiates tall/fall type delivery, athletic balance point, strong front side, front toe lands closed at times, upright finish, works quick on the mound.

10/20/18 - Loyd is a 5-foot-11, 160-pound right-handed hitting catching and corner infield prospect in Missouri’s 2021 class. At the event he ran a 7.44 second 60 yard dash, 4.15 home-to-first and posted an exit velocity of 79 mph. During batting practice, Loyd showed hard line drives and fly balls to the left side of the field, simple weight shift with his load, level bat path, quick hands, balanced lower half. Defensively in the infield, he showed clean transfers, momentum towards first base, high three-quarter arm slot, positional velocity of 70 mph, accurate throws. Behind the plate, Loyd starts with a narrow stance, high three quarter arm slot, quick arm action, pop times between 2.22 – 2.40 seconds, positional velocity of 71 mph, mostly accurate throws.
