Cole Lemons: C/RHP, (2023) Notre Dame Regional, MO. 6-foot-1, 160-pound projectable frame. In the box, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 88 mph. Starts in an athletic stance with a low load, then uses a controlled stride to initiate his swing. Bat speed was above average, used flat swing plane and high finish. He Barreled up multiple balls with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. While catching, recorded pop times of 2.02-2.20, his best recorded velocity during throw downs was clocked at 76 mph; has sure hands, quick feet and a natural exchange. Narrow setup with some flexibility. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a short arm action and an-over-the-top slot. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.37. Projectable on the mound, showed a quick arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with good arm speed. Feel type pitcher who shows some effort. Tall balance point with even shoulders. Lands square with a clean finish. Slider (70-70 mph).Sat with his fastball at 79-81 mph and topped out at 82 mph; shows arm side command and running action. He shows tight action on his curveball.
