Schroeder comes from a high three-quarters arm slot and throws with regular effort. He is 6-foot-2, 180 pounds with a quick arm and a projectable build. Gathers himself and repeats well. At the plate, slightly open stance, smooth and controlled load, accelerated and aggressive swing, level bat path, middle of the field contact during batting practice, singled to left field in game action. In the outfield, short high-three quarters arm slot, moves well to the ball, plays through the catch, throws have carry, mostly accurate, 83 mph positional velo, one of the top outfield velos of the event. On the mound, Schroeder throws with some effort, aggressive down the mound, over the top release, ability to work the whole zone, strike thrower, repeats delivery, fastball 81-83 mph, some late run, breaking has 2-t-8 shape with late and sharp break, wipe-out slider, attacks the zone and challenges hitters, finished his outing with five strikeout and two walks.
