2/16/18 - Turner is a 6-foot 175-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2019 class.  He ran a 4.51 home to first and has a 91 mph exit velocity. At the plate, starts in a slightly open and athletic stance, controlled leg lift, swings with intent to hit the ball hard, quick and loose hands, fast bat speed, shows power to middle and pull side.  In the outfield, 86 mph positional velocity, quick arm speed, over the top release, fluid to the ball, works through the catch with fluid momentum, fluid and clean transfer. On the mound, Tuner has a loose and quick arm action, throws with effort, aggressive and inline down the mound, over the top arm slot, high leg lift, falls to 1B side on finish, fastball worked 84-85 mph, showed a sharp 12-to-6 breaking ball, downward action, slider at 71 mph, slight break, more 10-to-4 shape, change up at 67-68 mph, occasional arm side run, throws with near fastball arm speed.
1/28/17 - Turner is a 6-foot 164-pound right handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2019 class.  He ran a 7.28 laser timed 60 and a 4.39 home to first.  He has an 85 mph exit velo and a strong, physical build.  At the plate, wide and strong stance, slight smooth load in back side with some hand load, aggressive and quick bat speed through the zone, showed power to the pull side, swing produced hard contact to the middle and pull side of the cage during hitting evaluations.  In the outfield, 81 mph positional velo, over the top release, moves to ball with a purpose, fluid transfer, arm works, mostly accurate throw, most with backspin carry. On the mound, Turner is a wide-shouldered, long legged and projectable, over the top release, smooth tempo in delivery, repeats, fastball has some sink, 77-80 mph, breaking ball has 11-to-5 action, some showing sharp and late action, throws change up down in the zone with fastball arm speed at 62-65 mph, some flashing arm side release.
