8/13/17- 5-foot-10, 180 pound outfielder ran a 6.72 60 yard sprint. #64 ranked prospect in the 2018 class for Missouri. Square stance, leg kick trigger, hands work inside the ball. Inconsistent contact during round of BP. Posted an exit velocity of 89 mph off a tee.Strong actions in the outfield with an above average arm that topped out at 88 mph to the catcher.

6/27/17 - Abeln is a strong 5-foot-10 190-pound right-handed throwing and hitting outfielder in Missouri’s 2018 class. He ran a 6.99 laser timed 60 and 4.34 home-to-first. Abeln’s exit velo of 93 mph was the second fasted recorded at the event. During batting practice, Abeln starts in an upright and athletic stance, quick hands, level bath path and gets good extension through contact. During game action he stuck the ball well and lined out to second base. Defensively, Abeln showed good actions, a strong arm with carry and positional velo of 84 mph, and mostly accurate throws.

2/17/17 - Abeln is a 5-foot-10 180-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in Missouri’s 2018 class.  He ran a 4.38 home to first and has an exit velo of 85 mph. At the plate, balanced stance, loads in lower half, minimal hand movement, level and quick path, mostly line drives to the middle of the cage in hitting evaluations, consistent hard contact.  In the outfield, 83 mph positional velo, loose over the top release, quick catch and throw, momentum through the catch, athletic actions.
