At the plate, simple and repeatable swing mechanics, balanced set up, in line stride with controlled leg lift, short stride, aggressive swing, level path through zone, stays on ball after contact, consistent hard contact during batting practice, gap to gap line drives, quick bat speed.  On the infield, 86 mph positional velo, high three quarters release, momentum though the catch, soft hands, plays with a high engine, aggressive to the ball, athletic footwork.

6/14/16 - Reid is a 5-foot-8 148-pound right-handed hitting second baseman in Missouri’s 2018 class.  He ran a 6.93 60, one of the top of the event, and a 4.50 home to first.  He has an 80 mph exit velo. At the plate, swing produced line drives to the pull side of the field, balanced stance, no wasted movement, quick bat speed, level though the zone. On the infield, 81 mph positional velo, moves well to the ball with quick feet, quick catch and throw, high three quarters arm slot, loose arm action, accurate throws, athletic actions.
