At the plate, thin stance, minimal load, short in line stride, some lift to bat path, quick hands, mostly pull side contact, flashing pull power.  In the out field, high three quarters release, 68 mph positional velo, fluid footwork with clean exchange, catches ball in position ready to throw, works through the ball, mostly accurate throws. On the infield, 68 mph positional velo, throws from a low three quarters slot, soft hands, clean transfers, quick catch and throw.

8/8/17 - Kolb is a 6-foot 195-pound left-handed hitting outfielder and first baseman in Missouri’s 2018 class.  He ran a 7.22 60 and a 4.44 home to first.  He has an exit velocity of 91 mph.  At the plate, starts in a loaded position, slightly closed stride, level path to extension, occasional pull side power, swing produced consistent hard line drives to the middle and pull side of the field during hitting evaluations.  In the outfield, 78 mph positional velo, high three quarters release, plays through the catch with fluid footwork and clean transfer, takes route behind the ball, quick to the catch, mostly accurate throws. At first base, 65 mph positional velo, three quarters release, momentum after the catch, shuffling footwork to the ball, fields ball out front, mostly accurate throws.

7/18/17 - Lewis is a 6-foot 185-pound left-handed hitting outfielder and first baseman in Missouri’s 2018 class.  He ran a 7.46 60 and 4.81 home to first.  He has an exit velocity of 82 mph. At the plate, starts in a tall and thin set up, minimal load, slight lift in bat path, body stays under control, quick bat speed, mostly pull side contact during batting practice.  In the outfield, 72 mph positional velo, high three quarters arm slot, takes quick route behind the ball, clean transfer and throw. On the infield, 71 mph positional velo, high three quarters arm slot, clean transfer works with feet to create momentum, mostly accurate throws.
