Lean, athletic 5-foot-11, 150-pound frame with room to add strength. The right-handed hitter sets up in a wide, balanced stance and a high handset. Slow, controlled knee-to-knee load into an explosive uphill swing. Made loud contact to the gaps with some pull-side pop and consistent line-drives to the middle of the field. Flashes bat speed and hand quickness, registering an 88 mph bat-exit velocity. Ran a 7.09 60-yard dash. In the infield, displays sure hands with quick transfers and releases. Works around the ball to field and funnels into his body. Made 83 mph throws from a long high-¾ arm slot with accuracy.

Latlip is a 5-foot-10 145-pound right-handed hitting shortstop in Missouri’s 2021 class.  He ran a 7.28 60 and a 4.80 home to first.  He has an 81 mph exit velocity. At the plate, starts in a balanced set up, smooth and controlled load with weight shift to back leg, in line stride with quiet hands, accelerated and quick hands, level through extension, stays balanced, gap to gap line drives.  On the infield, over the top arm slot, athletic actions, glove to hand transfer on time with footwork, smooth footwork to the ball with mostly accurate throws, 79 mph positional velocity.


Latlip is a slender 5-foot-9, 145-pound, right-handed hitting middle infield prospect in Missouri’s 2021 class. At the event he ran a 7.41 second 60 and a 4.76 home-to-first. At the plate, Latlip posted an exit velocity of 77 mph, starts in an upright stance, quiet load, sinks into legs, in line stride, level bat path, remains balanced throughout swing.
