St. Louis commit, currently ranked No. 27 in the state. Started behind the plate and hit out of the four-hole, finishing 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBIs, a run scored and a walk. Right-handed hitter with a mature approach, did not expand the zone and attacked pitches in the zone, worked with intent and consistently got his ‘A’ swing off, battled deep into counts and showed the ability to spoil until getting a pitch to handle. Defended at a high level behind the plate, agile out of the crouch, active blocker, shows arm strength from the chute with carry to the bag.

Another standout young backstop from the event was C Luke McAtee (De Smet Jesuit, 2027), who consistently found the barrel throughout his round. At 6-foot-1, 195 pounds, McAtee possesses a strong, durable frame with present strength. His right-handed swing showed power potential, as he averaged 87.1 mph off the bat (T94.4), driving the ball with authority.
