During batting practice, McCarter starts with an open stance, quiet load with hands, leg kick, in line stride, high finish with hands, showed line drive contact to LF with some pop. Defensively, McCarter has quick transfers, momentum to second base, quick feet, clean arm action, positional velo of 75 mph, accurate throws with carry through the bag, pop times between 1.92 and 1.96 seconds which were the quickest times at the event.
