8/9/15 - Melville is a 6-foot-2 200-pound left-handed hitting outfielder.  Melville ran a 6.85 60, one of the fastest times for the event and has an 88 mph exit velo, one of top LHH exit velos for the event. At the plate, athletic set-up, smooth load, level path, solid contact to middle-pull side during batting practice, aggressive swing, strong hands.  In the outfield, throws right, high three-quarters release, loose arm action, clean exchange, 83 mph positional velo.

7.7.15 - 6-foot-2, 185-pound, strong, athletic build, left-handed hitter showed the combination of speed and bat speed. Ran an above average 60 yard dash, 6.93 and recorded a 90 mph exit velocity at the event. Offensively hits from a tall, balanced set up. Smooth, deep, pre-pitch load, short stride and solid balance. Uphill bat path and displayed a pull-side approach. Defensively, on the infield, displayed above-average hands, fluid footwork, and the ability to play through the ball. Short arm action, over-the-top slot, with carry, 78 mph from the infield. Also, showcased in the outfield; feet worked well, smooth and clean exchange. Clocked at 80 mph from the outfield. On the mound the right-hander operated from an over-the-top, short arm action. Square, in-line finish. Fastball ranged 76-78 mph. Change-up was 69-73 mph with some fade and feel for the pitch. Also, flashed a knuckleball that ranged 64-68 mph with some tumble and feel.

7.9.14 - 6-foot-1, 185-pound strong and athletic 1B impressed with balanced left-handed swing.  Hits from a square setup with a short stride, hands load smoothly producing short, level bat path and above average 88 mph exit velocity.  Threw 69 mph across the infield, showcasing average hands at first base.  Ran a 7.07 60 yard dash and 4.79 from home to first.
