6/12/18 - Cooper is a well built 5-foot-11 175-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2020 class, a Notre Dame commit.  He ran a 6.90 60 and a 4.23 home to first.  He has an 87 mph exit velocity. At the plate, balanced set up, slight weight shift with load in hands, loose hands with quick bat speed, gap to gap approach, power to the pull gap, showed feel for the barrel with consistent hard contact.  In the outfield, 91 mph positional velocity, throws downhill from an over the top arm slot, clean transfer, small crow hop, plays through the ball with momentum, throws are mostly accurate with carry. On the mound, Cooper has a strong and athletic build, compact and repeatable delivery, over the top arm slot, quick and loose arm speed, lands in line and in a fielding position, fastball works downhill 84-87 mph, bottom of the zone, sharp breaking 11-to-5 curveball with swing and miss potential, 70-71 mph, commands both pitches to both sides of the plate.

2/16/18 - Cooper is a 5-foot-11 175-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2020 class. Cooper ran a 4.03 home to first and has an 86 mph exit velocity. At the plate, open stance, short in line stride, hands walk away from stride to load, slight lift to bat path, showed power to the pull side with the ability to go the other way, quick and aggressive bat speed.  In the outfield, 88 mph positional velocity, athletic actions, aggressive momentum maintained through the catch, crow how, quick to the ball with quick transfer and throw, loose arm action. On the mound, Cooper has an over the top arm slot, simple and repeatable delivery, athletic and accelerated down the mound, under control leg lift with in line stride, fastball worked mostly 83-84 mph flashing arm side run, high number of strikes, breaking ball has sharp and late, 11-to-5 action, throws for strikes down in the zone, change up has slight arm side sink, 69-70 mph, has command with near fastball arm speed, throws all pitches on downhill plane.

6/13/17 - Cooper is a strong 5-foot-11 175-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2020 class.  He ran a 7.34 laser timed 60 and a 4.65 home to first.  He has an exit velocity of 81 mph. At the plate, balanced set up, smooth load with some hand movement, accelerated and quick bat path, level to extension, consistent line drives gap to gap during batting practice.  In the outfield, 82 mph positional velo, over the top release, route to the ball creates momentum to through, accurate throws from a fluid exchange and quick footwork. In game action, reached on an infield single and hard hit ball to shortstop, flew out to left field. On the mound, Cooper has a strong frame, athletic delivery, repeats, in line stride, competitive pitches around the zone with all pitches, challenges hitters, over the top release, fastball 78-81 mph, works inside, running action, breaking ball has 11-to-5 shape, 68-69 mph, some with late and sharp action, creates swing and miss.

2/17/17 - Cooper is a strong and athletic 5-foot-11 175-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in Missouri’s 2020 class.  He ran a 4.47 home to first and has an 81 mph exit velo. At the plate, gap to gap approach with flashes of pull side power, quick and level bat path, aggressive swing, starts slightly open with rhythm to in line stride, hard contact during hitting evals.  In the outfeld, over the top release, quick and athletic footwork to the ball, arm works, mostly accurate throws with fluid transfer, 79 mph positional velo.
