McGahan is an athletic and lean 6-foot, 175 pound right-handed hitting catcher.  Mcgahan impressed both offensively and defensively.  At the plate, tall set up, smooth load back, short stride, explosive lower half, explosive bat speed, level bat path, gap to gap approach, 90 mph exit velocity.  Behind the plate, soft hands, quick and clean exchange, high 3/4 arm slot, exceptional arm strength and accuracy, throws at 80 mph, 1.88-2.12 pop times,  7.19 in the 60.

McGahan is a 5-foot-10 155-pound right-handed hitting catcher in Missouri’s 2021 class.  He ran a 8.09 laser timed 60 and a 5.41 home to first.  He has an 82 mph exit velo. At the plate, swing produced middle to pull side line drives, open stance, minimal hand load, leg kick, body stays under control, balanced swing.  Behind the plate, 2.05 to 2.21 pop times, 72 mph positional velo, high three quarters release, quick exchange, fluid footwork. In game action, hit ball hard in three at bats, collected two singles to each gap.

5-foot-9, 150 pound, strong frame, right-handed hitting catcher. Defensively, traditional catcher’s arm action and slot, short and over-the-top, works on-line, throws were consistently around the bag, good carry, clocked at 73 mph out of the crouch. Moves athletically behind the plate, quick, clean exchanges, soft blocker. Recorded pop times between 2.08-2.19. Offensively, open setup, leg-kick stride, maintains balance throughout, fluid rhythm. Pull hitter with power potential, uphill barrel path, generates bat speed, recorded an 83 mph exit velocity. Ran a 7.69 laser-timed 60.
