Body: Physically advanced long limed 6-foot-2, 185-pound frame with some strength and room to add more.
Delivery: Clean and controlled windup with a moderate leg kick and rhythm throughout. Strides straight down the mound with a “drop and drive” backside, and finishes balanced.
Arm Action: Clean with moderate length in the back before coming though a near over the top slot with some arm speed.
FB: 82-83 T84 riding action through the zone, mostly strikes.
CB: 66-68 with 12/6 rolling action commanded in the zone
CH: 76 shows gradual fade, thrown with full arm speed.
Will Moore: RHP/OF, (2023) Ladue Horton Watkins, MO. 6-foot-2, 171-pound lean frame. In the box, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 85 mph. Starts in a balanced stance with a small load, then uses a controlled stride to start his swing. Has above average bat speed, flat swing plane and high finish. In his round he found lots of barrels. Pull side approach. Above average from the outfield, he displayed a position velocity of 85 mph; had a fluid exchange, sure hands and consistent footwork. Decent accuracy to the bases, used a high ¾ slot with a long arm action. Clocked a 60 time of 7.46 at the event.
Moore is a 6-foot-2, 171-pound, right-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2023 class. He ran a 7.53 second 60 and posted an exit velocity of 80 mph. At that plate, Moore starts in an athletic stance, minimal load, quiet hands, in line stride, high finish with hands, primarily contact to both the middle and opposite fields during batting practice. Defensively, smooth actions to the baseball, clean transfers, long arm stroke, clean action, positional velo of 84 mph, mostly accurate with throws. On the mound, Moore has an athletic build, projectable frame, controlled leg lift, accelerates down the mound, repeats with some effort, loose arm, high three-quarter release.
