6/14/16 - Ferrell is a 6-foot-6 215-pound right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2018 class.  Ferrell has prototypical pither’s frame, lean and projectable, comes from an over the top slot, repeatable and smooth delivery, body stays under control, throws with easy effort, fastball ranged from mostly 78-81 mph, downhill plane, breaking ball has 11-to-5 action, 67-70 mph, some showing sharp movement, worked the entire zone with high percentage of strikes.

1/31/16 - Ferrell is a 6-foot-6 215-pound right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2018 class from Notre Dame in the Cape Girardeau area.  He has shown an increase in velocity since his last event, working his fastball up to 83 mph, one of the top RHP fastball velos of the event. He has a long and lean build with a repeatable and smooth delivery, over the top release. Fastball works down in the zone to both sides of the plate, with late run, 12-to-6 breaking ball, sharp downward action, 72-73 mph, slider at 72 mph, change up with fastball arm speed at 72-76 mph, slight arm side release.

7/22/15 - Ferrell is a 6-foot-6 214-pound right-handed pitcher in the 2018 class.  Ferrell throws downhill and in the strike zone with three pitches. Simple delivery with good body control, over-the-top release, stays in line, shoulders level. Fastball works 73-75, 78 max, 11-to-5 curveball, late action, works bottom of zone, 74-75 mph change up.
