At the plate, open stance, in line stride, pull side line drives during batting practice, creates whip in bat, loose.  Behind the plate, pop times between 2.07 and 2.28-seconds, 71 mph positional velo, high three-quarters release, fluid footwork, clean glove-to-hand transfer, mostly accurate throws. 1/31/16 - Crayne is a 5-foot-9 155-pound right-handed pitcher and right-handed hitting catcher in Missouri’s 2018 class from McCluer North HS.  His fastball is 73-75 mph, slider has a slurve-shape with 10-to-4 action, 58-66 mph, change up has slight arm side run at 65-69 mph.  He has a deceptive low three-quarters arm slot, hides ball well until release, throws with regular effort, strides in line with athletic finish. He ran a 7.59 60 and had an exit velo of 78 mph.  At the plate, starts with open stance, controlled body during swing, consistent line drives to pull side, quick bat speed.  On the infield, high three quarters release, made all plays cleanly, fluid footwork, clean exchange, mostly accurate throws, 68 mph infield velo. Behind the plate, pop times in 2.17 to 2.39 range, one of the top pop times of the event, 69 mph positional velo, high three quarters release, quick transfer with fluid footwork, somewhat accurate throws.
