Brayden Jones: Madison-Ridgeland Academy, 2021, 6'0" 180. RHP with sturdy athletic frame. Uses a over the top delivery and quip whip type, slightly short arm action. Uses his legs well and drives the ball to the plate. Very good direction and repeatable delivery. Fastball regularly reaches 91-93 mph range with arm side run. Change up mimics fastball well and shows same arm side action. Breaking ball shows 11/5 shape with lots of depth. Not afraid of contact and plays in the zone.
Brayden Jones: Madison-Ridgeland Academy High School, Class of 2021; 6-foot, 170-pound athletic frame; RHP/3B. On the mound, showing quick arm speed he had an over-the-top arm angle with a short arm action. He is a drop-and-drive type pitcher. Has plus action and consistent accuracy on his 11/5 curveball 71-73. His fastball was 84-88 mph; and topped out at 88 mph; had hard action on his tailing fastball. His changeup regularly came in at velocities of 80-82 mph.
