(Greene County, 2023) looked solid on Monday night and will build stamina as the season progresses. The Jones College signee has one of the better curveballs in the 2023 class with 12/6 shape and tumbling action. On Monday he was up to 86 with his fastball and may pick up a little as the season rolls on. Pipkins also plays a dual role for Greene County, serving as a quality defender that can play multiple infield positions.
Positional Profile: SS/RHP
Body: 6-1, 175-pounds. Leaner and athletic look, porportional frame.
Delivery: Slow tempo with direction off line to 1B side. Better than last time we saw him. Repeats delivery well.
Arm Action: RH. Lenthy, loose arm action.
FB: T82, 79-82 mph. Some run in the strike zone. Still gaining command. T2069, 1976 average rpm.
CB: 64-68 mph. Very good shape and feel for the CB. His go to pitch. T2260, 2232 average rpm.
CH: 72-72 mph. Same run as FB. Developing command. May slow arm speed slightly. T1590, 1530 average rpm.

Hits: LHH. Conventional with in stance though slightly open. Normal hand set though inside back shoulder. Big load and stride. Very small knee lift. Gets separation in hands in stride. Looking to pull with aggression at contact.
Power: 93 max exit velocity, averaged 78.3 MPH. 360' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-81 mph.Quick arm action
Defense: Good footwork and range on the infield. Solid glovework with quick transfer and accuaracy on throws. Next level ability.

Body: 6-0, 170-pounds. lean, athletic frame.
Hit: LHH. Tall, balanced stance. Smooth load with knee lift and longer stride. Creates good leverage into contact with a pull side approach.
Power: 90.5 max exit velocity, averaged 84 mph. 347’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 84 mph. Quick arm action.
Defense: Solid skill set with upside. Good footwork and range. Great body positioning on all angles. Soft hands.
Run: 7.27 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Easy repeatable delivery. Works down the mound well. Pulls lead leg to 1B side.
Arm Action: RH. Quick arm action.
FB: T82.5, 79.5-82.1 mph. Decent arm side life to fastball when in the zone. T2171, 1922 average rpm.
CB: 66.7-69.7 mph. Solid spin and feel for breaking ball. T2408, 2297 average rpm.
