Looks like a major breakout candidate after working his way back from injury that sidelined him all of last spring. His stuff has ticked up since we saw him this summer in the Coastal Plain League, where he sat 88-91 with a good changeup in the all-star game. Thick and strong with a high three-quarters slot, Pence attacked at 91-93 and bumped 94 in his scoreless frame, also showing a swing-and-miss changeup at 85 mph while striking out the side.
