07.22.16: Long and lanky righty that stands 6-foot, 160 pounds. Clean arm swing that is early to the top produces a high-3/4 slot with some crossfire from the lower half. Fastball ranged 78-80 and played a tick harder. Curveball is still maturing, with a gradual break at 64-65. Lawson threw a couple of change-ups to left-handed hitters, showing some feel for the pitch as it settled 71-72.
