Jared has a tall and lanky frame with upsides in terms of adding strength. Works from a high-3/4 slot with a long loose arm action. Fastball touched 85, sitting 82 to 84. Breaking ball topped at 69 with 11/5 action. Mechanically smooth, he stayed in line and had an athletic finish. His fast ball was a little flat, not much downward tilt which may be due to the early part of the season.
