Beckner is 5-10 with a lankier athletic frame that has plenty of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a slightly open balanced athletic stance, strides on line, loads down and back to a slight wrap. Hips rotate completely and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, goes straight to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing path, gets some extension through the ball, showed a good approach working gap to gap, chance to grow into some gap power, exit velocity was 87. In the outfield, gets body behind the ball and fields through it with above average hands, clean exchange, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, position velocity was 73. Showed versatility working out in the infield as well. Ran a 7.31 60 yard dash.
