4/5/19: Athletic shortstop with smooth and easy actions. Average arm strength. Soft, quick hands on the turf. Confident defender. Loose approach at the plate with a short stride and good balance. Good separation with fair weight transfer. Mostly hit off his backside, looking to go the other way. Good bat control with slider bat speed for more doubles power. Average runner underway. As a junior college transfer, McKeon was largely unknown prior to this spring season. But, with good athleticism, smooth defense and enough offensive production (.346/.409/.485) so far this spring, he has put himself on the radar for Day Two consideration. (Seifert)
