Tall and projectable frame at 6-foot-2, 165-pounds. His windup is actually a modified stretch. Keeps his hand and the ball out of his glove until he starts working down the mound. Consistent rhythm and tempo. Uphill shoulder tilt, high frontside. Big, long stride. Efficiently rides the slope. Arm is free and easy. High arm slot, nearly OTT. FB thrown with intent at 82-83 MPH, touching 84 MPH. Plus CB, 12/6 shape with violent downer action at 68-72 MPH. CH with occasional fade at 74-75 MPH.
6-foot-2, 165-pound athletic frame. Projectable on the mound. Showed quick arm speed, used a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action. Up-tempo type pitcher who uses easy effort. Balance point is tall with even shoulders during delivery. Lands square with an athletic finish. Sat with his fastball at 78-81 mph and topped out at 82 mph; shows arm side command and running action. Threw a 11/5 curveball (68-72) that showed tight action and glove side command.
