Kania has a youthfully narrow frame with sizable feet. He tends to recruit strength from the core of his body which lends his arm angle to gravitate to a lower ¾ slot. He displays a feel for infield as well as outfield footwork and when all the parts are synced, his playability is revealed. The comfort of his low 3/4 slot lends to run on the baseball and negatively impacting carry, flight, and accuracy of throws. Arm plays better from the infield while strength and weight gains provide stability to his reliable actions. At the plate, he maintained a level swing path and a middle of the field approach during batting practice that should continue to carry to game play. Size and strength will prove valuable to provide next level opportunity.

Developing, 5-foot-6-120, Kania has plenty of room for growth. He shows feel for both his infield and outfield actions, throwing from a ¾ to lower ¾ slot limiting carry for his size and strength. The arm works, with strength and development, accompanied by his athleticism should provide the future ability to play in both defensive areas. He has capable infield actions that will polish with time. He has a feel for ground ball footwork and presently what it takes for him to complete plays. At the plate, he maintains a nice rhythm and swing plane, creating consistent contact with a middle of the field approach. He handles himself well in the box and looks to have a nice future in the game.
