Offensively: LHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; flat bat to start. Short take back with the hands with a toe-tap for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a downward swing path with a two handed finish.  More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 91 MPH via Trackman.

Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; static during pre-pitch while utilizing a quick first step. Hands work through the ball with a clean transfer. Moderate arm circle from a high 3/4 arm slot. INF - 73 MPH.

Offensively: LHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; flat bat to start. Short take back with the hands with a toe-tap for timing. Offensively: LHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; flat bat to start. Drops hands on the way back with a toe-tap for timing. Slides weight forward pre-contact. while showing a strong lower half. Showed a compact swing path with a late one hand finish.  More groundballs than line drives and flyballs with a peak exit velocity of 90 MPH via Trackman. Displayed a consistent barrel path with some pull side power.

Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep step while utilizing a quick first step. Hands are underneath the body with a seamless transfer. Short take back from a standard 3/4 arm slot.  INF - 73 MPH.

Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup working primarily from the stretch. Belt high leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a long stride landing inline with the plate. Moderate arm swing while showing some scap load; standard 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 70 MPH, while sitting 68-70 MPH; straight action. CB: 63-66 MPH; spots and expands.

Physical: 6-foot-0, 195 pounds; Sturdy, proportional build. 8.03 runner in the 60.

Offensively: LHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a direct swing path with a two handed finish.  More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 89 MPH via Trackman. Shows pull side power with flashes of gap to gap pop.

Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; uses prep step while sitting back. Hands are out in front while funneling to the hip before transfer. Moderate arm circle from a low 3/4 arm slot. INF - 67 MPH.

Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup working primarily from the stretch. Belt high leg drive with shoulders above the hips. Has a moderate stride while landing slightly closed. Long arm swing while wrist hooks behind back; standard 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 69 MPH, while sitting 65-68 MPH; straight action. CB: 65-66 MPH; 12-6 shape.  OTHER: CT 66 MPH;  late lateral action.

Physical: 6-foot-0, 195 pounds; Full, athletic build. 7.79 runner in the 60.

Offensively: LHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; flat bat to start. Loads straight back with a slight leg-kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a compact swing path with a two handed finish.  More ground balls than line drives and fly balls with a peak exit velocity of 87 MPH via Trackman. consistent solid contact.

Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; static during pre-pitch while showing choppy feet. Hands are out in front with a seamless transfer. Long arm swing from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 70 MPH. 

Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup working primarily from the stretch. Mid chest leg drive with a slight coil away from the plate. Has a long stride landing inline with the plate. Long arm swing while showing no restrictions; standard 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. 

3/21/21

Pitching: Works out of the stretch with steady pace. leg lift above the belt with some coil to a tall stack before gliding out in line getting quality hip-shoulder separation finishing over a strong front side. Long, fluid arm swing to a clean 3/4 release (4' 5" AVG height).

FB: Plays with quality life through the zone with a Bauer Unit up to 33. CB: Good feel for it with 1-7 shape flashing depth through the zone. CH: Tunnels out of the FB release with arm side fade.

2/15/21

Physical: Sturdy 5-foot-10, 175-pound frame with strength in the lower half. 8.02 runner in the 60-yard dash. 

Offensively: LHH - Balanced, traditional setup as the hands showed slow, circular rhythm above the shoulder. Utilized a leg lift stride in order to initiate the bat head through a short and direct, flat path into the hitting zone. Mostly upright posture with a middle-pull approach during batting practice; recorded a 39% line drive rate with a 292 foot peak batted ball distance per Trackman Baseball. An 85 mph bat-exit velocity has room to improve with a little more intent from the lower half; solid round overall with feel for the hands present. 

Defensively: The primary first baseman showcased quality reads off the bat with a quick first step, medium-high posture in the approach with trust in a soft glove hand off of the right foot. Dropped the arm down to an accurate ¾ slot on the release (67 mph) with low intent.
