Crafty RHP with a slight but strong frame, 6-foot-0 160 pounds. Uses his body as well as he can without much weight behind the ball. Has a solidified 4 pitch mix; most comfortable with his FB, but has a 11-5 CB that he will go to. Missed up with the CB times. His deception and FB control leads to a lot of awkward swings. Loaded up stance at the plate with weight over back leg; stays behind the ball with a short, on-plane stroke.
 
Preseason - Long Island (February 23, 2018)
Chang is a 5-foot-11 150 pound RHP/OF that ran a 4.37 home-to-first from the left side; 4.42 from the right side. Offensively- He is a switch-hitter. As a lefty, he bats with an upright, slightly open stance. Short stride, quick to the ball, generated solid contact and finished with both hands on the bat. As a righty, similar stance, stance slightly less open. Consistently hit line drives, head down on the ball at contact and repeats with balance. Exit velocity from the left side was 81 MPH; 79 MPH from the right.  Defensively- Charged the ball aggressively in the outfield, showed 80 MPH velo from an over the top arm slot, utilized the turf to his advantage. Pitching- Small leg kick, drop-and-drive delivery and directly over-the-top. Aggressive stride to the plate, covering plenty of ground; gets over front side. Sat 76-77 MPH with downward tilt. Big 12-6 CB at 64-66 MPH . Also mixed a CT/SL at 68-69 MPH.
