A lean 5-foot-7, 145 pounds athletic frame. Ran a 7.46 60 yard dash. Offensively- stands in the box with a slightly open stance with loose hands. Displays a short compact swing into the hitting zone. Flat bat path through the hitting zone. Consistent hard contact during the hitting portion. Top exit velocity was 83 MPH. Defensively- moves well laterally. Soft hands and smooth exchange on a quick loose release from a arm action. Top throwing velocity was 76 MPH. The 2021 graduate is a must follow going forward.

ENY ASG (September 15, 2018)

Ran a 7.82 60 Yard Dash. Offensively - Hits with a relaxed, slightly open stance. Shows loose hitting actions and keeps rhythm in hands with subtle bat wiggle. Consistent timing and rhythm to his load/leg lift. Swing plane showed an improved, level barrel path with a high finish. Hands stayed inside of the ball and generated consistent hard contact. Exit Velocity was 77 MPH. Defensively - Smooth, athletic actions that project to keep him in the middle of the infield. Stayed balanced and showed body control when moving laterally. Loose, whippy arm action. Additional strength will help development significantly. Arm strength was 71 MPH. 

Preseason All-State (February 21, 2018)

Bonilla stands at 5-foot-5, 120 pounds.  Ran a 7.91-60.  Offensively-should width, slightly opened stance.  Hands held slight below shoulder leg raise with minimal stride to engage.  Swing plane at an incline through the zone.  Exit velocity measured at 76-MPH.  Defensively- loose base, athletic approach to the ball, fluid glove to hand transfer.  Arm slot at 3/4 with arm strength measured at 69-MPH across the diamond.
