2/12/23

Physical: Twitchy, athletic 5-foot-11, 170lb build. 6.68 runner in the 60YD.

Offensively: RHH. Leadoff profile, as he sets up confidently from an even stance with high hands. Utilized a simple lift-and-replace stride to initiate the swing through a flat path into the hitting zone. Able to repeat the operation with advanced feel for the sweet spot (70%) during a quality round of BP. Developing gap-to-gap power at T92MPH exit velocity and 310FT. Knows how to turn the barrel.

Defensively: The primary outfielder showed off A/AVG capabilities in space, tracking the ball to either side with a loud 92MPH throwing arm from a quick H ¾ slot. Going to have a chance at any of (3) OF positions.

7/27/22

Physical: 5-11, 165 pounds; Athletic, lean build. 6.78 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Loads straight back with a slight leg-kick for timing. Slides weight forward pre-contact. while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a short swing path with a two handed finish.  More groundballs than line drives and flyballs with a peak exit velocity of 91 MPH via Trackman. swing repeats with feel for the barrel; gap to gap approach.

Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; uses prep hop while quick first step with ability to cover ground. Hands are off to the side with a seamless transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot. OF - 90 MPH. strong, accurate arm.

6/29/22

Physical: 5-foot-10, 160 pounds; Athletic, wiry build. 6.75 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Open setup, with feet shoulder width apart; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Loads straight back with a moderate leg kick for timing. Slides weight forward pre-contact. while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a flat swing path with a two handed finish.  More groundballs than line drives and flyballs with a peak exit velocity of 91 MPH via Trackman.

Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; uses prep hop while being aggressive. Hands are off to the side with a clean transfer. Short take back from a high 3/4 arm slot.  OF - 88 MPH.

2/24/22

Physical: 5-foot-10, 160 pounds; Athletic, broad shouldered build. 6.98 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Open setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Short take back with the hands with a slight leg-kick for timing. Slides weight forward pre-contact. while showing a strong lower half. Showed a direct swing path with a one-handed finish. More line drives than fly balls and ground balls with a peak exit velocity of R90 / L87 MPH via Trackman. Similar to the swing from the right side, the left side is just a little shorter and more direct to the ball.

Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; walks into ready position while being aggressive. Hands are off to the side with a clean transfer. Long arm swing from a high 3/4 arm slot.  OF - 89 MPH.

Pitching: Uses an arm side setup working primarily from the stretch. Mid chest leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Moderate arm swing while showing some scap load; high 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 85 MPH, while sitting 84 - 85 MPH; life through the zone. CB: 68 - 70 MPH; spots and expands.  CH: 72 - 75 MPH; fading action.

6/30/21

Physical: Athletic, lengthy 5-foot-10, 150lb frame with some two way feel. 7.14 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: The switch-hitter mirrored from both sides, presenting himself at a wide attack position with the hands up/down slightly below the shoulder to start. Utilized a toe tap stride to initiate the bat head through a flat path into the hitting zone and was able to get to extension consistently out in front. Posted a 30% line drive rate to the LCF side of the field, working up to a near 300 foot batted ball distance at a T85 mph bat-exit velocity for doubles power. Scored well in all Blast Motion categories with rotational acceleration and on-plane efficiency standing out the most (more juice on the way).

Defensively: The outfielder operated at a breakneck pace during defense, sprinting downhill and playing through the ball well over the toes; fielded off his left, with a violent, aggressive shuffle towards the target, releasing from a H ¾ slot in rhythm (length, quick release, 85 mph arm).

Pitching: RHP - The righty started off the left side of the rubber, holding good direction with athleticism down the slope into footstrike. H ¾ slot and maintained tempo in the arm at release, pounding the zone at 77-79 mph on the FB (52% zone rate, arm-side run). Mixed in a shorter 69-71 mph CB able to land in any count at 2060rpms max.
