Scott is a 5-foot-10 165 pound SS/OF with a strong, athletic build. He ran a Home to 1st time of 4.19. Offensively - Sets up with a balanced stance with hands just below his shoulders. Exit velocity was 71 MPH off a tee. Showed the ability to square up and hit line drives to all parts of the field; uses his lower half well. Balls off his bat played a lot harder than exit velocity; showed some lift to the opposite gap. Defensively - Sets up with a balanced stance, low to the ground. Infield velo was 75 MPH; showed good lateral movement and foot quickness. Moves through the ball with hands working forward; throws from an over top slot, recommended that he begin to work his arm slot down to a ¾ slot to allow for a quicker release. 2B/3B projection at the next level.
