Physical: 6-foot-3, 215 pounds; Long, full build. 4.07 30 yd dash.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Drops hands on the way back with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a short swing path with a late one hand finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 101 MPH via Trackman. Gap to gap power with consistent hard hit contact.
Defensively: Starts with a compact setup; utilizing a one knee approach while staying low during receiving. Hands are firm while staying low during transfer. Short take back from a high 3/4 arm slot. 2.03-2.12 pop times. C - 78 MPH. INF - 78 MPH.
Physical: 6-foot-3, 215 pounds; Proportional, athletic build. 7.91 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Loads straight back with an up and down stride for timing. Slides weight forward pre-contact. while showing a strong lower half. Showed a direct swing path with a late one hand finish. More groundballs than line drives and flyballs with a peak exit velocity of 94 MPH via Trackman. Consistent down and hard contact.
Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; utilizing a one knee approach while staying low during receiving. Hands are soft with a seamless transfer. Short take back from a standard 3/4 arm slot. 2.13-2.22 pop times. C - 72 MPH.
Brian Carrothers Jr: C/1B, (2024) CBA-Albany, NY. 6-foot-3, 215-pound athletic projectable build. Projectable in the box, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 98 mph. (69.4 mph bat speed average). (21.9 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a small load, then uses a small leg kick. Has above average bat speed, loose uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. He created loud contact and found lots of barrels. Aggressive gap to gap approach. While catching, his best throw downs of the day reached a max velocity of 71 mph; had a developing transfer, soft developing hands, and developing consistent footwork. He produced a pop time of 2.09-2.15. Athletic calm setup. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action. Clocked a time of 7.86 in the 60-yard dash. (Max spin ; Avg ).
