NY Games (June 25-27, 2017)
Sturdy 5-foot-10, 180 pound build with a 60 time of 6.96. Offensively - uses a straight up-and-down stance with an exaggerated step to generate an exit velocity of 82 MPH, drives the ball to the middle third of the field with a repeatable stroke, finishes out on front foot which suggests he has more power. Defensively - quiet and economic footwork sets up well with a position velocity of 81 MPH, accurate arm.
NY All-Star Games (September 17, 2016)
Williams stands in at 5-foot-10, 175-pounds with a muscular, athletic frame. Ran a 6.90 – 60, and has recorded a 4.26 home to 1B in July 2016. Offensively- Starts slightly open with his back knee bent in an upright position. Bat is in front of back shoulder with pre-pitch movement. On pitch his trigger is a movement in with his front leg to stride forward and his hands moving back into a good hitting position. Quick hands to the hitting zone with good level bat action throughout to a high two handed finish. Good lower body rotation getting total body into the swing. Line drive esults with some pull side pop; recorded an exit velocity of 80 MPH, slightly better than his previous recorded 79 MPH in July 2016. Defensively- Gets behind the ball well in outfield. Uses a side shuffle vs. a crow hop to get into throwing position. Arm swing is long and powerful getting total body into throw. Displayed a position velocity of 82 MPH, another 1 mph improvement from July 2016.
WNY Prospect Preview (July 5, 2016)
Cameryn is 5-foot-10, 175 pound OF/SS. He ran a 4.26 home to 1B. Offensively- Cameron  starts in an athletic stance with his hands by his right ear. He has a slight load of his hands and uses a toe touch to begin his swing. His lower half was involved in the swing; swing path that allows him to keep his hands in the zone for a long period of time; some cross cutting action with his finish. Mostly line drives with a few ground balls. His exit velocity was 81 MPH. Defensively- Cameryn got into a good position pre-pitch to track the ball. Did a nice job of catching the ball while moving forward into his crow hop; maintains momentum well. Assertive with crow hop; arm strength clocked in at 79 MPH.
May 2016
5-foot-10 and 165 pounds. Williams flies in center, making the full sprint into the gaps look routine. Turns miscues in the outfield into extra-base hits. Took second base against Oswego on E6 through to center field by catching defense napping. Batting .306 in team-high 69 at-bats in his first season on varsity. Aggresive player that understands how to use his abilities to the fullest.
