Short quick direct path to the baseball. Shows hard consistent contact to the middle and opposite side of the field. Does a good job staying inside the baseball. Top exit velocity was 86 MPH. Defensively- As a catcher, has an above average exchange. Throws from a high ¾ arm slot. Has a quick release. Top throwing velocity behind the plate was 73 MPH. Pop time ranged from a 2.14-2.21 . The 2020 Catcher shows active footwork and is a must follow going forward.
