Physical: Strong, athletic build. 

 Pitching: Works with good pace using a high leg lift before sitting into the back side and striding out in line to a repeatable release. Long, whippy arm action to a 3/4 slot. FB: T 81 MPH, 79-81 MPH. Commands to the glove side with high spin and life through the zone. CB: 71-72 MPH. High spin with slurve action averaging 13 inches of horizontal movement. CH: 73-74 MPH.

Daniel has a physical frame at 5’10, 170lbs. He stands in the batter’s box with a shoulder width base, slightly bent knees, and high placement. He uses a toe-tap load and which gets him to a balanced trigger position over his back knee. He showcased a short compact swing, with athletic swing movements. He recorded an exit velocity of 82 mph. Dan is an underclassman that has advanced skills as a defender. He possesses exceptional footwork around the bag and defends his position well. Effective with his feet on 3-6-3 DP’s with good tempo and rhythm in fielding approach and working back to the base. Smooth hands and effective momentum through his throw. Dan recorded 73 mph velocity across the infield. Pitching- Sturdy frame with high 3/4 slot and simple repeatable mechanics. FB (77 MPH)has late life , and plays up. Exuded advanced mound maturity, and feel for pitching. Controlled the pace, and was consistently ahead in the count. Commanded sinking FB to the arm side and four seamer to the glove side.  Utilized curve ball, with tight down bite to put hitters away. Good looking young pitching prospect.
