Physical: Stocky, well proportioned 5-foot-9, 185-pound frame. 7.33 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Open, narrow stance with the hands starting with slight rhythm above the shoulder in the setup. Utilized a leg hang stride with some weight shift to the front side in order to initiate a slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone. When on time with the stride, created natural lift to the pull side gap while the hands worked towards a high finish. Occasionally got the foot down late and got steep on the attack angle allowing for more ground balls / soft line drives, but when the rhythm was on the RHH did damage at the plate. Demonstrated the ability to stay on the baseball out over the plate and drive it the other way if pitched into that quadrant. Two handed finish with a short compact swing when need be. Recorded a max of 91 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball.
Defensively: The primary catcher displayed a low and narrow crouch while receiving with a soft glove hand at the catch point. Pop times ranged from 2.03-2.14 using solid straight line footwork towards the target and quality catch and throw skills allowed for an accurate throwing arm to play through a quick, high ¾ slot with a moderate takeaway. Beat the ball to the spot on either side of the plate while blocking with soft walls creating recovery ability to any bag. C - 73 mph
