Physical: 5-foot-7, 170 pounds; Sturdy, full build. 8.79 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Closed setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; upright bat position. Drops hands on the way back with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a two handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 75 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; uses prep hop while utilizing a quick first step. Hands are out in front with a clean transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot. OF - 74 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with a slight coil away from the plate. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Moderate arm swing while arm wraps behind the body; high 3/4 slot. Upright with finish. FB: Peak velo of 70 MPH, while sitting 67-69 MPH; straight action. CB: 55-56 MPH; lands for strikes. Showed good command glove side with the fastball.
Physical: Strong compact 5-foot-7, 170lb frame. 8.87 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Balanced, even stance, as the hands operated in rhythm on the shoulder to begin. Utilized a leg-lift stride to initiate the swing through a flat path into the hitting zone. Stayed slightly uphill on the path towards impact, finishing at a taller, two-handed position on the backside. Lofty approach to the pull-side of the field while hitting into a firm front-side. Posted a T77 mph bat-exit velocity during his round.
Defensively: The first baseman arrived to the ball on time, fielding in the middle of his body with a soft glove hand. Compact base at the touch and then shuffled the feet to deliver an accurate throw (68 mph arm).
Pitching: LHP - The southpaw begins with a balanced stack position and opens up the front side early towards the right pocket side at release (H ¾ slot). Quick finish and landed a 68-70 mph FB for strikes with arm-side run. Mixed a hard-fading low 60’s CH that flashed above-average.
