2027 OF/OF Gavin Brady (Vestal) 6-0, 173.3. Live-wire athlete with elite lateral burst and high-end motor. Heavy barrel with elite impact. Sound of the bat is different; dynamic pull-side juice. Athletic tracking lines in the outfield, getting on his horse early with efficient routes and an aggressive crow-hop. Athletic Testing - 60- YD: 6.92 - Grip Strength (R/L): 129.7 / 117.4 - Vizual Edge: 66.18
Physical: 5-10, 130 pounds; Slender, lean build. 8.15 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a downward swing path with a high finish. More groundballs than line drives and flyballs with a peak exit velocity of 77 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; uses prep hop while being aggressive. Hands are off to the side with a clean transfer. Long arm swing from a low 3/4 arm slot. OF - 62 MPH.
