Physical: 5-8, 175 pounds; Average, slight build. 7.2 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet shoulder width apart; flat bat to start. Short take back with the hands with a slight leg-kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a downward swing path with a late one hand finish.  More groundballs than line drives and flyballs with a peak exit velocity of 91 MPH via Trackman.

Defensively: Starts with a compact setup; utilizing a one knee approach while staying low during receiving. Hands are soft while staying low during transfer. Short take back from a standard 3/4 arm slot. 2.06-2.18 pop times. C - 76 MPH.

2/20/23

Physical: 5-foot-8, 175 pounds; Proportional, slight build. 7.65 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet shoulder width apart; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Short take back with the hands with a slight leg-kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a downward swing path with a late one hand finish.  More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 83 MPH via Trackman

Defensively: Starts with a compact setup; utilizing a one knee approach while staying low during receiving. Hands are firm while standing up during transfer. Short take back from a high 3/4 arm slot. 2.15-2.26 pop times. C - 75 MPH.   Showed a quick transfer with a fast release.

6/27/22

Physical: 5-foot-8, 175 pounds; Athletic, proportional build. 7.47 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet wide spread; flat bat to start. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a direct swing path with a late one hand finish.  More groundballs than line drives and flyballs with a peak exit velocity of 86 MPH via Trackman. consistent solid contact.

Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; utilizing a traditional primary position while staying low during receiving. Hands are out in front with a seamless transfer. Short take back from a standard 3/4 arm slot. 2.1-2.22 pop times. C - 74 MPH. 

2/21/22

Physical: 5-foot-8, 175 pounds; Athletic, lean build. 7.6 runner in the 60. 

Offensively: RHH. Even setup, narrow stance; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Short take back with the hands and a slight leg kick. Stays behind the ball and works a swing with slight uphill pick up at the end. More line drives than fly balls and ground balls. Peak exit velocity of 86 MPH via Trackman. 

Defensively: Starts upright in a traditional stance. Receives quietly with soft hands and transfers on the way up. Works a short arm action and throws from a high ¾ slot.  2.00-2.05 pop times. C - 74 MPH.


6/30/21

Physical: Compact, durable 5-foot-8, 155lb frame with some strength found. 7.75 runner in the 60-yard dash. 

Offensively: RHH - Bent, even stance just outside shoulder-width as the hands operated with some rhythm off the shoulder. Utilized a short lift and replace stride to initiate the bat head through a flat path into the hitting zone. Stayed over the backside well in the posture, able to turn the barrel quickly and reach through extension; produced a solid 36% line drive rate via Trackman with feel for the top hand during a middle of the field approach. Added a near 280 foot batted ball distance showing mostly singles power at the moment. 

Defensively: The primary backstop showcased a controlled, balanced traditional stance behind the plate, receiving adequately on the corners. Pop times ranged from 2.15-2.19 using some pre-catch rhythm while getting the feet/shoulders in-line to the target. Transfers worked to a ¾ slot, releasing to arm-side (67 mph arm).


2/18/21

Physical: Compact, developing 5-foot-8, 155-pound frame with lean strength at times. 7.81 runner in the 60-yard dash. 

Offensively: RHH - Slightly open, crouched stance with the hands showing loosely at the shoulder; utilized a leg hang stride with a quick cross-body turn in the swing, initiated the bat head through a slight uphill path way out in front of the plate, pull-side approach with a short bat path on the way towards impact. Hit into a stiff front side behind the baseball, creating loft in the swing (70% fly balls). Recorded a peak bat-exit velocity of 77 mph per Trackman Baseball. 

Defensively: The primary backstop featured adequate defensive skills with a soft glove hand, pop times ranging from 2.22-2.35, and a quick release from a high ¾ slot (69 mph arm) … Approached the ball with active feet in the middle infield, arriving on time with a soft glove hand presented out in front of the toes, funneled into the body and released from an accurate V-slot across the diamond (73 mph). Made the play on the run seamlessly.


3/01/20

Physical: Tall physical frame. 8.01 runner in the 60; 4.59 home-to-1B.
Offensively: RHH. Tall upright stance, feet close together, hands shoulder high, simple load action and hand movement Level barrel path, quick leg kick into hands through the zone, strong one-handed finish. Line drive contact pull-side. 71 MPH raw exit velocity.
Defensively: 2.37-2.39 pop times. INF: Clean, consistent footwork on approach, fields the ball out in front in the middle of his body, can play on the run C: balanced stance, square footwork, smooth ball transition, blocks balls in the dirt well, gets body squared. INF: Short arm swing with a low 3/4 arm swing C: Short arm swing, 3/4 arm slot. C - 56 MPH. INF - 63 MPH. 

7/02/19

A lean athletic frame at 5-foot-3, 106 pounds. Ran an 8.56 in the 60 yard dash. Offensively- the right handed hitter stands in the box in a tall stance feet shoulder width apart. Throws his hands into the hitting zone with a flat barrel. Showed hard consistent contact to the middle of the field. The top exit velocity was 63 MPH. Defensively- as a C, setups up in a slightly upright position. Above average exchange and quick release from a ¾ arm slot. Top pop time range was 2.30-2.37. Top throwing velocity was 60 MPH. As an infielder, moves well laterally. Shows above average funnel actions and smooth exchange to quick release from a mid ¾ arm slot. Top throwing velocity from the infield was 62 MPH. Pitching- the right handed pitcher displayed a repeatable delivery. Throws from a mid ¾ arm slot with low effort. Worked with the FB up in the zone and peaked at 63 MPH. CB is loopy with a late break at 54-56 MPH.
